Description
The zero-resistance problem
Self-powered speed isn't the same as adjustable intensity
A fully self-powered curved treadmill lets an athlete run as fast as they want, but for coaches building structured HIIT or push sled style circuits, speed control alone doesn't give them intensity control. Without a resistance system, every session runs at roughly the same baseline effort, which makes it hard to program a light recovery day and a max effort interval block on the same machine.
The TKO AirRaid Force builds that intensity control back in. Four levels of magnetic resistance let coaches dial up belt tension for genuine push sled simulation, while impact reducing molded slats on sealed bearings still deliver the smooth, quiet ride expected from a self-powered design. Perfectly placed handrails support everything from casual walking to a hard sled-style push.
Because there's still no drive motor, the AirRaid Force needs no electrical outlet and can be positioned anywhere on a training floor, with transport wheels making repositioning between classes simple.

What TKO engineers for
Two AirRaid treadmills, two different training priorities
"TKO AirRaid Force offers the benefits of a self powered treadmill as well as the option of 4 levels of resistance for higher intensity interval training."
TKO Strength & Performance
TKO's own AirRaid Runner drops the resistance dial entirely in favor of uncapped sprint speed and a higher 400 pound user weight capacity. The Force trades some of that top-end capacity, 350 pounds versus 400, for the ability to dial in resistance for structured push sled style intervals. Neither model is a strict upgrade over the other, they're built to serve different training styles within the same AirRaid line, and the Force costs less at $5,500 versus the Runner's $5,850.
Best for
CrossFit boxes, HIIT studios, and training facilities that want push sled style resistance training built into a self-powered curved treadmill.
