The Tru Grit Grit Runner Elite is a curved manual treadmill designed for running, intervals and athletic conditioning. Unlike a motorized treadmill, the running belt responds to the user's movement rather than a preset motor speed. As you change your pace, the belt responds accordingly, allowing transitions between walking, steady running and faster efforts without reaching for speed controls. This self-paced design makes the Elite a practical choice for coaches and athletes who want to alternate work and recovery intervals within a single session.

Four levels of magnetic resistance add training variety beyond ordinary manual running. The Elite combines a proprietary dual-belt transmission with adjustable resistance, letting users move from lower-resistance running to more demanding efforts that simulate pushing a sled. This is especially useful for interval circuits, short conditioning bouts and sessions that alternate running with resistance work. The self-powered belt drive does not require an electrical outlet, although the separate workout display uses its own power source.
