Expertly designed to fuel lives, the new XT4700 delivers premium performance with top-of-the-line features. Walk/Jog/Run Quick Start buttons on the console get exercisers going at the touch of a button, with smoother motion, a longer stride length of up to 28” and interactive coaching for CROSS CiRCUIT and Workout Boosters. SmartStride interactive ergonomics customize stride length, and MultiGrip and Converging Path handlebars maximize upper-body engagement.

Enhancing the experience is a choice of a smart or standard console and a personal viewing screen, which offer options including an Internet browser, mobile device charging and TV and entertainment selections. And fitness facilities benefit from a reinforced compact frame, a quiet motor, easy firmware updates and asset management.

SmartStride

Octane’s exclusive SmartStride interactive ergonomics analyze an exerciser’s pace and direction, and automatically adjust the stride length to replicate walking, jogging and running for greater comfort, variety and challenge. Now with a wider stride range of 20"-28”, the XT4700 accommodates members of all heights and different stride preferences for customized, natural motion. 

Natural Motion

Octane’s zero-impact cardio machines are precisely designed based on human biomechanics to replicate natural motions like walking, jogging and running. Close pedal spacing of 1.8” ensures that the body is properly aligned from head to toe, minimizing the stress on the lower back and joints. One of the trademark attributes of Octane Fitness ellipticals is that exercisers are able to challenge themselves with intense workouts, yet still feel good both during and after their routines. 

Upper Body Ergonomics

To fully engage the upper body, the patented, one-of-a-kind MultiGrip and Converging Path handlebars ensure that exercisers maximize muscle use and enjoy better results. The unique shape of the MultiGrip handlebars lets exercisers change their grip to target different arm, chest and back muscles. And Converging Path handlebars follow the natural path of the arms when walking, jogging or running. For greater convenience, the handlebars also feature contact heart rate sensors and fingertip controls to easily adjust speed and resistance.

Workout Boosters

For powerful interval training at any time, exercisers can take advantage of Octane's signature Workout Boosters – like X-Mode, GluteKicker and ArmBlaster – to jump-start routines with quick bursts of movements that target specific areas or the entire body. Incorporating X-Mode, for instance, adds squatting, leaning back, pedaling in reverse and more – so exercisers are challenged, motivated and seeing results, making them more likely to return for another workout.
